People who buy modern and new Apple device will have a chance to enjoy the extras of Windows 7. This will be done using virtualization technology. For this purpose they must have a software application, called Citrix Receiver. It will be available in March. Citrix reported that it worked out. From Citrix claim that their program is based on the current version of the operating system that drives the iPhone.
In the words of Chris Fleck, who is vice president of Citrix, the aim of developing their application is to enable iPad users to do any real work with their shiny device. iPad applications in modern business environment are of dubious value but with Citrix Receiver purchase the device will become more justified.

System in one chip controls the new iPad

Days after the premiere of the iPad it became known characteristics of the processor which underpins the Apple device. Indeed, Apple A4 mysterious chip is not just a processor but a “system chip” (SoC), revealed brightsideofnews.com.
The system includes a multicore processor Cortex-A9 MPCore architecture with ARM, memory controller and graphics chip series ARM Mali 50. The number of nuclei in Apple A4 is not known but it is known that they operate at frequency of 1GHz.
Apple A4 chip was developed by the company PA Semi which is owned by Apple in 2008 after they bought it for $278 million.

There will be millions of sales in the first year of iPad

There are conflicting expectations and analysts on Wall Street on the occasion of the new tablet iPad which was introduced by Apple.
Some believe that the enterprise is risky while others say the iPad has great potential. Expected in the first year of placing a tablet on the market to reach sales of several million pieces. Estimates are the figure is between one and five million tablets. Since Apple have served to surprise a lot in the past and nobody is quite sure what will happen.
Mike Abramski of RBC Capital Markets predicts sales of five million units during the first 12 months. Broadpoint.AmTech analysts are more cautious and expect sales iPad tablets are in the range of 1.1 to 2.2 million.

Apple had no rights over the brand iPad

In addition to praise, the new Apple product iPad was greeted with some sharp reactions from various circles and from competing companies. The Japanese giant Fujitsu came out with a statement that Apple has no right to use the brand iPad.
Fujitsu is determined to assert their ownership over the brand. The company is currently consulting the lawyers for further action.
Since 2003 Fujitsu claiming rights over the brand iPad the U.S. market. The Japanese manufacturer that sold under the trade name terminals. Trade mark application is examined by the patent office of the United States already 6 years.
Apple challenged the right of Fujitsu iPad over last year by submitting several applications at the U.S. Patent Office.

iPad inspired 177 thousand messages per hour on Twitter

The new creation of Apple called the iPad has led to a wave of messages that overwhelmed Twitter during the first hour after the official presentation. Information is from Trendrr.com.
iPad tablet presentation made people flood the social network Twitter with 177 thousand reactions. This makes nearly 3000 messages per minute. Analysts determine the activity and size of reactions as exceptional. After the initial peak activity decreased but it has remained for long at a level of 75 000 messages per hour or 1000 every minute.
Apple’s new device is presented as something between a smartphone and a notebook. Emphasis is on the big touch screen which is a major focus of the device. There is also a function iBooks which allows users to buy and read books. All available software applications are designed specifically for iPad in order to maximize the potential of touch screen.
